The north entrance to Yellowstone National Park is only 11 miles away in the town of Gardiner, Montana. Rafting trips originate from Gardiner. A beautiful vacation rental cabin, built in 2003, with attractive rustic furnishings that sleeps 8 comfortably with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The cabin has high speed internet access. It's located 23 miles west of West Yellowstone (the west entrance to Yellowstone Park) in Island Park, Idaho. Mountain Lake Cabin, a half acre property by Henry's Lake, is bordered by Targhee National Forest in a secluded setting with pine trees and aspens all around.
Day trips to Yellowstone and Teton National Parks are well within reach. Snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, fishing, hunting, water skiing, swimming and horseback riding can all be enjoyed close to the cabin. Our latest vacation home, Lakeview Cabin, is located 19 miles from West Yellowstone, the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park, in Island Park, Idaho. It sits on a hill with truly spectacular views, overlooking Henry's Lake and the surrounding mountains. This 3 BR/2 BR cabin sleeps 6 people comfortably and is available year-round. The cabin has a high speed internet connection so you can bring your laptop.
Henry's Lake is world famous for fly fishing - here you can fish for rainbow trout and cutthroat hybrids. Other activities nearby include sightseeing, hiking, fishing, boating, swimming, rafting, horseback riding, gift shopping, rodeos, and ATV riding. Because this area receives plenty of snow, snowmobile riding on the local trail system or in Yellowstone Park are great activities in the winter. Deer Meadow Vacation Home
Located 7 miles from West Yellowstone, the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park, Deer Meadow Vacation Home is a perfect home base for your exploration of Yellowstone National Park and Teton National Park. This 1700 sq. ft. two-story 3 bedroom/2 bathroom vacation rental home now has high speed internet access - just bring your laptop. It is equipped with everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. It sleeps eight people comfortably. In the three bedrooms you'll find two queen size beds and two twin beds. In the loft there is a pullout queen-size sleeper couch. The entire home has a forced air heating and air-conditioning system that keeps it comfortable at all times of the year. This vacation home is available year-round. The West Yellowstone area gets lots of snow all winter long making it ideal for snowmobiling and cross-country skiing all the way through March. This last winter the snow conditions were excellent!

The beautiful two-story Great Room has a grand view of Lionhead Mountain and the surrounding peaks of the Continental Divide. The large wood-burning corner fireplace with its tall rock chimney, and the knotty pine interior walls and ceiling create a rustic cabin feeling. The dining room table has seating for 8. From the Great Room you can walk out onto the wraparound deck to enjoy the view and the fresh mountain air. The deck has a BBQ grill and deck chairs. The patio offers additional seating.
A log staircase leads to the second story loft, a cozy place to talk, read or watch TV. Beyond the loft there are the two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other with two twin beds. The upstairs bathroom has a tub/shower combination with sliding glass doors.
Downstairs, the large open kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need to prepare meals and dine. We supply extra virgin olive oil and spices for your use. Beyond the kitchen is the master bedroom suite with a queen-size bed and a bathroom that includes a two-person whirlpool bath and a shower. The fully equipped laundry room is just off the kitchen. A detached two-car garage and driveway provide parking for up to six vehicles.
Prices range from $1350 to $1650 per week, and $205 to $245 per night, depending on the time of year. Yellowstone Vacation Home
Located only 11 miles from the town of Gardiner, the north entrance of Yellowstone Park, Yellowstone Vacation Home sits on a hillside, overlooking the Yellowstone River and an expansive grassy valley ringed by towering mountains.
The 1200 sq.ft. cabin has rustic fir woodwork on the walls and ceilings in the living/dining room and in all bedrooms, as well as in the upstairs hallway and stairway, which creates a great cabin atmosphere. With three bedrooms and one bath, it sleeps 6-8 people. There is one queen-size bed, two twin beds, a bunk bed, and two futons. It has forced air heating and air conditioning throughout. High speed internet access has now been installed - just bring your laptop. The wrap-around deck, which seats 8 and has a BBQ grill, offers terrific views of Paradise Valley, where on many a night you can enjoy great sunsets in all their splendor.
The living/dining room has a beautiful wood fireplace and a maple hardwood floor. The dining room table seats 8 people. The large open kitchen is fully equipped including spices and olive oil. The spacious bathroom has two sinks and a shower/tub combination with glass doors. Upstairs are the master bedroom with a queen-size bed, and two more bedrooms with two twin beds and a bunk bed for two.
Yellowstone River flows by only 200 yards from the cabin. You can walk down the hill and fly fish right there - some of our guests come back regularly for that reason. Or you can drive down the road that runs by the cabin for a mile until you get to a sandy beach where you can wade into the river in different places - fishing is great there. Yellowstone Park is only 11 miles from the cabin which is well within reach for day trips to Mammoth Hot Springs, the Lamar Valley for wolf viewing, the Tower Falls and beyond. Mountain Lake Cabin
Located just 23 miles west of West Yellowstone in Island Park, Idaho, Mountain Lake Cabin sits on a half acre property. It is surrounded by quaking aspens and pine trees, which create a secluded setting. It is two miles from Henry's Lake, a large lake, surrounded by the towering mountains of the Continental Divide. This 1508 sq.ft. two-story 3 bedroom/2 bathroom year-round vacation rental cabin has a large loft with a queen-size pullout couch, and sleeps 8 comfortably. The cabin has high speed internet access.
The fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and stools opens onto the Great Room with two leather couches, and a corner cast iron gas stove backed by a river rock floor to ceiling wall. Knotty pine tongue and groove walls and ceilings, pine plank flooring, slate tiles and plush carpet create a cozy and rustic atmosphere in the cabin. The master bedroom has a queen-size log bed, the second bedroom also has a queen-size bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds. The master bathroom has a bath and shower combination, and the upstairs bathroom has a shower.
The trees in the front yard create a sense of seclusion when you look out from the extensive wraparound deck with log railing to Henry's Lake and the mountains of the Continental Divide. Look forward to casual meals and BBQs there, enjoying the peace and quiet and the sound of the quaking aspens.
Mountain Lake Cabin is the perfect home base for exploration of the Yellowstone and Teton National Parks. Yellowstone Park is only a half hour away and Teton National Park, 84 miles to the south east, is also well within reach for day trips. In the winter you can snowmobile right from the cabin and connect with trails in Henry's Lake State Park, or hundreds of miles of other interconnected groomed snowmobile trails in Island Park and West Yellowstone. Depending on the season, other activities that are available in these areas are boating, water skiing, swimming, rafting, golf, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, hunting, sledding, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

The large wrap-around deck with seating for 6 offers breathtaking views in all directions. Enjoy having BBQ dinners there, or just sit and gaze at the lake, the sky and the clouds - you'll feel yourself unwind in the peace and majesty of it all.
The cabin has clear-finished pine on the walls and ceilings, creating a bright and rustic atmosphere. The tastefully decorated Great Room has two sets of French doors leading to the deck with another set of windows above. Windows on all three sides give you the opportunity to enjoy nature's beauty during all seasons. Comfortable couches invite you to sit back and relax as you enjoy watching your favorite satellite channels on the large screen TV. Or enjoy watching our collection of DVD movies for all ages. The adjoining dining area seats 6 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need to prepare meals and dine. The laundry area is in a separate room just of the kitchen. Beyond the kitchen is the master bedroom suite with a king-size bed and a walk-in closet. Its adjoining bathroom has two sinks and a shower. Down the hallway you'll find a queen size bedroom and a third bedroom with a bunkbed for two. The hallway bathroom has a bathtub/shower that has sliding glass doors.
Activities nearby include sightseeing, hiking, fishing, boating, swimming, rafting, horseback riding, gift shopping, rodeos, and ATV riding. Snow is abundant here in the winter - therefore snowmobiling on the local trail system or in Yellowstone Park is the number one fun activity for that season. Cross country skiers can enjoy 75 miles of groomed trails in Island Park, either in Harriman State Park or Targhee National Forest. Or try out the world-famous Rendez-Vous ski trails in West Yellowstone.
