It has river access only 200 yards from the vacation home and a nearby mountain lake for fishing. The north entrance to Yellowstone National Park is only 11 miles away in the town of Gardiner, Montana. Mountain Lake Cabin is an attractive cabin, built in 2003, that sits on a half acre property in a quiet neighborhood of mostly seasonal homes in Island Park, Idaho. It's only 23 miles (a half hour) from West Yellowstone, the west entrance to Yellowstone Park. The cabin is backed by national forest and the surrounding quaking aspens and pine trees create a peaceful, secluded setting. Henry's Lake is a large lake with excellent fishing that's surrounded by beautiful towering mountains. A public boat launch is only two miles from the cabin. This 1508 sq.ft. two-story 3 bedroom/2 bathroom year-round vacation rental cabin also has a large loft with a queen-size pullout couch, and sleeps 8 comfortably. The cabin has wireless high speed internet access. Mountain Lake Cabin is the perfect home base for exploration of the Yellowstone and Teton National Parks. In the winter you can snowmobile right from the cabin and connect with hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails in Island Park and West Yellowstone. The cabin is located only 9 1/2 miles (a 10 minute drive) from the historic stone archway at Yellowstone Park's original entrance in Gardiner, Montana. With 3 bedrooms it sleeps 8 people comfortably. Wireless high speed internet is available for your use - just bring your laptop(s). Yellowstone Riverview Cabin is the perfect place for fishing the Yellowstone River with several boat launch and public access sites in close proximity. It is also a great location for naturalists, wildlife enthusiasts and photographers, because it is situated in Paradise Valley, a majestically beautiful wildlife corridor directly connected to Yellowstone Park. Big horn sheep, deer and elk can be viewed regularly, and sometimes you might see bison running down Highway 89!
