Managing Your Vacation Home

Yellowstone Vacation Rental Homes, LLC is owned and operated by Bruce and Magdalena Beall. Magdalena takes care of bookings and all communications by internet or phone, and keeps the website and various listings updated. Bruce is in charge of the maintenance of most homes, either by doing the work himself or by coordinating it. During our business meetings we frequently come up with renovating ideas that streamline and renew the flow in our business in order to increase bookings. We usually agree right away which makes it a joy to work together.


Cost of Managing Your Home

We offer several options for managing your vacation home. If you live far away we could take care of all requirements for managing your vacation rental home. This would include advertising on our website and creating listings with VRBO and HomeAway (you'd pay for the listings), answering inquiries, creating and emailing rental agreements and receiving payments, returning deposit refunds, coordinating repairs of the home (you'd pay for the repairs) and coordinating cleanings after the guests have departed. It would also include buying supplies and stocking the home. We charge 25% on the rent charged to guests for this all-inclusive level of management.

If you'd prefer to arrange your own repairs and cleanings, and would be able to keep the home stocked, we would charge 18% on the rent charged to guests.

Requirements for Managing Your Vacation Home

By choice all of the vacation rental homes we currently own or manage are in the proximity of Yellowstone National Park. That is why we only accept vacation homes that are no more than 15 miles away from a park entrance. Because we live in Island Park, Idaho, we only offer the all-inclusive management arrangement to owners of vacation homes close to the west entrance of Yellowstone Park, either in West Yellowstone or Island Park.

Preferably your home would have two or three bedrooms, and at least two bathrooms, because we have found that this is what most of our inquirers expect. Your home should also have high speed internet access, a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and microwave, and it should be well stocked with supplies for the use of your guests. This is the level of amenities we currently offer in the homes we own or manage, and it's our experience that it makes guests appreciative!
